Wuthering Waves explains the upcoming areas and characters in the new region of Lahai-Roi

Kuro Games finally revealed the first teaser trailer for Lahai-Roi, the next major chapter in Wuthering Waves, as well as the Rover's next destination. November 26, 2025. The short teaser video focused mostly on the upcoming region's main hubs, as well as revealing the faces of three new playable resonators.

Lahai-Roi, the scientifically advanced nation on the edge of Solaris-3, was first teased at the end of Rinascita's finale, where the leader of the evil organization Fractsidus, Schwarzloch, mentioned that the region would be their next target.

Wuthering Waves version 2.8The end of Rover's main mission came with confirmation that this is indeed Rover's next destination, including the revelation that they once attended the Startorch Academy located in the region, alongside Chisa. That being said, Kuro Games finally revealed several areas of the nation, including the high school our protagonist attended two decades ago.

three new characters from Lahai-Roi, Mornye, Luuk Herssen and Lynae they were also revealed at the end of the trailer, and will likely be the first to be playable in upcoming updates, or at least the characters the Rover will be introduced to after arriving in the nation.

The upcoming region for the game will also differ drastically from the medieval islands of Rinascita, as it is a nation where scientific research and space travel are a high priority. This also very much reflects both the aesthetic of the character and the teaser.

Version 3.0 is set to launch December 25, 2025after the course WuWa 2.8 update completes. Kuro Games will announce plans for the next set of patches in the coming days, especially during the special 3.0 preview program, which will no doubt contain more details about upcoming areas and characters.
