WWE had added a major segment to Saturday night’s main event John Cena’s retirement party The event will have a post-show segment.
December 13th will be the last time John Cena will lace up a pair of boots in the ring. The Cenation Leader will cap a career spanning more than two decades at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. This will be the final match of the star’s retirement tour. He had several important matches against Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Logan Paul, Sami Zayn, Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles and Dominik Mysterio, during this run.

This week, for the first time in Saturday Night Main Event history, the event will be followed by a special post-show presentation. This marks a major milestone for the show, showing the importance of Cena’s last match. The segment will air on WWE’s YouTube channel. The main stars appearing in the show will appear in the post-show along with the company’s broadcast team. Content director Triple H is also expected on the show.
This past week, wwe released a video package on their social media honoring John Cena’s legacy.
The 17-time world champion will close his career this weekend in a match against Gunther. The Ring General won the Last Time is Now tournament to emerge as Cena’s final opponent.
WWE uploaded the four-minute video to its YouTube channel. Top stars like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Triple H and more shared a heartfelt farewell message for the Cenation Leader. Other stars on the roster including Logan Paul, Sami Zayn, The Miz, R-Truth, Seth Rollins, Rusev, LA Knight, Shinsuke Nakamura, Maxine Dupri and many more also shared their tributes to Cena.
